This superb film tells the true story of the black calvary corps known as the 'Buffalo Soldiers.' These troops patrolled America's wild west after the civil war. In addition to keeping the peace, these men fought the racism of their commanders and other white corps soldiers. The story focuses on the troops attempts to capture an Apache warrior named Vittorio who slaughters the settlers in New Mexico. An unforgettable examination of an ignored moment in US History, this film is a testimony to men who served with distinction in spite of the racism around them.
