Justin Frost might think he’s good at kung-fu, but he also might be a loser who lives at home and mows lawns for a living.

Grandpapa gets things kicking, and the carnival makes everything happen. In the company of The Amazing Steve and the Dunk the Punk jerk is Galaxy, a pretty blonde who happened to rip Justin off at a gas station the other day.

Justin is in love, but jumping is Justin’s worst nightmare, and when he does, Galaxy’s boyfriend storms in to disrupt their budding romance.

Also intermittently tormented by his possibly-psychotic ex-stepfather cop and his co-worker/friend, the always-eating, orgy-seeking Wayne Chung, Justin stumbles into this carnival world and the splinterheads who populate it. Will he become the amazing butterfly he was meant to be?

The most brilliant scenes are found in the performances of The Amazing Steve and his life partner/assistante, the wonderfully deadpan Wyoming. From their costumes to their stage presence to the locals who gawk at their magic, every on-screen moment with this duo radiates hilarity. And when Justin and Wayne wind up back at their trailer, the story of how The Amazing Steve became The Amazing Steve is simply amazing.

Cast: Thomas Middleditch, Rachel Taylor, Christopher McDonald, Lea Thompson and Jason Mantzoukas as “The Amazing Steve.” Production designed by Wilmington all-star Chad Keith and Art Directed by Mister Adam Willis.
