What happens when activists, organizers, and creatives come together to tell stories that conjure a world where every family has a safe and nurturing space to call home, regardless of the color of their skin or the size of their paycheck? Join a diverse group of multimedia storytellers and housing, land, and racial justice advocates who have been working in collaboration to build power and fundamentally transform the dominant, harmful narratives that keep our communities divided, disempowered, and fighting for survival. We’ll share lessons learned from our deeply collaborative creative processes and introduce you to five media projects to be released in 2021 that imagine a world where working-class, black and brown communities can thrive in place and determine the future of their neighborhoods.
