What is the difference between marketing to a festival versus marketing to the rest of the world? Through careful examination of the changing trends in Theatrical and Digital distribution we will explore what audiences are reacting to and what the difference is between finding your festival audience and finding your home audience.
Anna manages the digital sales department at Gravitas Ventures. A North Carolina native (who moderately retains her accent), she graduated from UNC and UNCW with degrees in Business Administration and Film Studies, respectively. Anna’s experience at Vertigo Entertainment and Deluxe On Demand led her to join the Gravitas team in the spring of 2015.
Marketing and Digital Sales Coordinator Caleb Ward joined the company in Spring 2017 and plays an instrumental role with both Gravitas’ marketing and sales teams. Among his duties, Caleb traffics film assets, coordinates creative projects and liaises with several Gravitas partners including iTunes, Netflix, Shudder, Comcast, TubiTV and Hoopla. Originally from Baltimore, he is a recent transplant to Los Angles. After graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a BA in Film Studies and BFA in Creative Writing, he worked with film non-profits in the Midwest and west coast. In addition to his role with Gravitas, Caleb also programs for SeriesFest and Cucalorus Film Festival.
