Dr. Curry Guinn is Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. His research focuses on integrating symbolic and probabilistic natural language processing technologies with machine learning techniques in a variety of domains. His research has been supported by research grants and contracts from U.S. Department of Defense, the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Justice, National Institute of Health, the Environmental Protection Agency, and commercial businesses.Dr. Julian Keith, Department Chairperson & Professor, UNCW
Dr. Julian Keith is a recipient of the Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Award, the Board of Trustees Teaching Excellence Award, and the 2015 UNCW Distinguished Teaching Professorship. His research on the neural mechanisms of memory and attention has been published in high-impact professional journals. He is co-director and co-founder of the MARS Memory Health Network. Dr. Keith received a Ph.D. form the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1990.
