Unlikely old friends, Huey arrives on Bernard’s doorstep after 25 years apart. Bernard falls for Huey’s estranged daughter Zelda. Meanwhile, Huey tries to seduce various women in Bernard’s life. At least one of them is in danger of marrying a woman old enough to be his wife. Based on characters by legendary cartoonist Jules Feiffer.

 

Short Before the Feature: Balkan beat box – This town (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) //  too short for modeling :: The story of a street rat that makes it’s way into stardom, in this live action- animation mix for BBB (which made their US debut in Jason Derulo’s ‘talk dirty’).

Bio

Dan Mirvish is a director, screenwriter, producer and author. Dan was mentored by Robert Altman on his first film, “Omaha (the movie)”, which led him to co-founding the upstart Slamdance Film Festival. Dan’s award-winning feature starring Julia Stiles and Taye Diggs, “Between Us” played in 23 festivals and sold to 144 countries. His film “Open House” led the Academy Awards to controversially rewrite their rules on the Best Original Musical category. Mirvish wrote the non-fiction book “The Cheerful Subversive’s Guide to Independent Filmmaking” for Focal Press/Routledge, and he co-wrote the best-selling novel “I Am Martin Eisenstadt.”
