An aging pot farmer named Devi suddenly finds her world shattered as she races to bring in what could be her final harvest, fighting against the threat of eviction as the impact of legalization rapidly destroys her idyllic way of life. Krisha Fairchild, who played the lead in Trey Edward Shults’ debut feature Krisha from five years ago, delivers another troubled character study of someone from a generation gone by. Daily life on the farm brings Devi and her crew to the edge in this slow, emotional burn as they struggle to cope with the reality that legalization is ending their way of life. Frank Mosley plays Josh, one of the crew of young farm workers who is holding on to the romantic vision of life on the pot farm.
Prior to the film will be a live, socially distanced, pop-up dance performance choreographed by Tracey Varga.
