I am from Bangladesh and have had an interest in art since I was young. I never really expected to go into animation because my artistry leans towards the fine arts aspect of the scale but that changed when I saw The Illusionist, directed by Sylvain Chomet. It was breathtakingly beautiful and there was such little dialogue too but it worked because it was driven story, characters, and atmosphere. The art style wasn’t like the animation I was used to seeing at the time and it flipped a switch in my mind on what exactly animation can do. I saw so much artistry in it so I decided to try my hand and explore the medium.
