Bio
Orlando Pinder is a Chicago-based filmmaker who found his passion for visual storytelling in high school when he snuck out of his mother’s house to document the Baltimore protests. His footage ended up in Al Jazeera America’s Emmy nominated short doc, ‘Baltimore Rising’. Since then, he has worked on narrative short films that deconstruct issues of inequality and tell complex stories. His films have been shown at multiple festivals along the east coast. He’s conceptualizing his first feature and is excited to direct his first full-length film in the near future.
