Bio
Samantha Herrick is lucky enough to spend her work days as the Director of the Community Arts Center for the Thalian Association Community Theatre since 2014. As Director, she gets to work with and for artist every day! During the summer, she is the Creative Arts Camp Director and the Film Camp instructor. She loves teaching kids the fundamentals of film and helping them bring their ideas to life on the screen.
Sam is a UNC-Chapel Hill alumni with a BA in Communications/Performance Studies where she learned basics in production. She has previously worked as the Assistant Director for Performance Club Studio Theater and three years with the Playmakers Repertory Company in Chapel Hill.
Sam has been affiliated with the Thalian Association Community Theatre and the Community Arts Center as an actor, stage crew, volunteer, box office manager, Children’s Theater Director, and stage manager.

The Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center is owned by the City of Wilmington and managed by Thalian Association Community Theatre. The building is a historic and cultural treasure that has been the center of recreation and art for generations of local children.
