A New York City hip-hop musician has chosen a life of seclusion and the few relationships he manages to maintain have all reached a breaking point. Forced to reconcile how to continue living in an alienating world, he struggles to forge a path forward. Director Mtume Gant's ongoing critique of the music industry's racial politics takes its most tender turn in his stark, black and white debut feature.
