Born from internet culture and fueled by a shared love of video games, anime, and pop culture, nerdcore music evolved from a niche online subgenre into a thriving global community of independent artists with sold-out live events and millions of listeners around the world. Through intimate interviews with the creators who shaped the movement, Nerdcore: Making it Anyways chronicles the genre's unlikely rise while exploring the passion, creativity, and personal sacrifices behind making art in the digital age. More than a story about music, it is a portrait of belonging, resilience, and the communities we build around the things we love.
